Origin and use: In Scotland this very old breed was used in the Highlands and Lowlands as a sheepdog.
Height: 51 to 61 cm
Weight: 18 to 29 kg
Temperament: dignified, faithful, honest, intelligent, reserved with strangers
Useful information: The Collie has good tolerance for rain and cold and does not like heat or inactivity. When kept indoors they tend to shed hair. It must have daily exercise.
