Origin and use: From Italy and the royal courts of Europe comes the “butterfly” dog.

Temperament: proud, affectionate, friendly
Useful information: Not particularly sensitive to cold and being a meticulously clean animal the Papillon can be bathed frequently. The teeth tend to collect tartar and need regular brushing. They love to romp in the countryside but make good household pets.
