IRISH WOLFHOUND

Origin and use: One of the largest dogs on earth it was used in Ireland to hunt wolves, bears, stags and the very large Irish elk.
Height: dog minimum 81 cm, bitch 76 cm
Weight: dog minimum 55 kg, bitch 48 kg
Temperament: friendly, obedient, good with children
Useful information: Until the dog is fully developed at the age of three years it must be watched attentively and given a diet rich in meat and calcium. Regular brushing with a metal comb or hard brush is recommended.
