BULLDOG

Origin and use: A British dog originally bred for bull fighting.
Height: both sexes 30 to 40cm
Weight: dog 25 kg, bitch 22.5 kg
Temperament: not pugnacious, courageous, good-natured, very affectionate, loyal to all close friends be they man or beast.
Useful information: The Bulldog, with its very short head can develop breathing problems. It is also a drooler especially when excited. If the drooling is excessive your vet can do something to reduce it. Go easy on grooming. However, the folds in the skin, especially those of the cushion (the fold of skin over the nose), must be examined regularly for parasites.
