BLOODHOUND

Origin and use: Originally from Belgium where it was known as the Saint Hubert and used as a hunting dog.
Height: dog 64 to 69 cm, bitch 58 to 64 cm
Weight: dog 40 to 50 kg, bitch 36 to 45 kg
Temperament: affectionate, shy, tolerant, sensitive
Useful information: It is preferable to feed this dog in the evening as it tends to suffer from stomach cramps. Activity after meals is not advised. Exercise is vital and when confined indoors they tend to become restless. As for most short haired breeds a good brushing once a week and a monthly bath are sufficient.
